Downsizing and moving can be such a difficult time for a senior and their family. I experienced this when I moved my own mom out of a family home where she’d lived 30 years, and I see it in my work as a Downsizing Diva. It’s an emotional process.

The last thing someone needs to worry about are the practical details, such as what you’re taking with you, where to donate items for re-use, or how to organize your new space.
Before becoming a Downsizing Diva, I worked alongside the previous franchise owner to learn the ropes. That’s when I realized that downsizing assistance for seniors would be a perfect fit.
I’d spent my career in advertising and marketing, including work at a large retirement company. Managing projects, being prepared, getting things done, and keeping everyone happy along the way is what I do best. I’m just one of those task orientated people who likes finishing things!
There’s also so much satisfaction working with seniors. When the move is complete, the pictures hung on the walls, and everything is in its place, that’s when I see smiles on people’s faces.
I look forward to meeting with you.
